USBCNC-2D FEATURES
Portable USB file transfer Interface for all CNC Controls
USBCNC-2D User Manual
The USBCNC-2D is like giving that craftsman a high-speed digital tablet that sticks right to his workbench. It’s a compact, "smart" bridge that eliminates the need for messy PC setups, providing a stable, interference-free link for your G-code.
## USBCNC-2D: The Industrial Wireless Data Hub
The USBCNC-2D is a professional-grade transmission device designed to replace unreliable computers and legacy equipment. It streamlines how you manage, edit, and transfer G-code with industrial-strength stability and a "plug-and-play" interface.
### 1. Massive Storage & Flexible Flow
Think of the USBCNC-2D as a high-capacity warehouse for your programs. You are no longer limited by the tiny internal memory of older CNC controllers.
- Dual Storage: Store files in the 4GB internal memory or plug in a USB stick (up to 64GB) for massive 3D surfacing files.
- Two-Way Traffic: It’s a two-way street. You can pull data back from the CNC machine (like tool offsets or parameters) and save them to the USBCNC-2D.
- Drip Feed (DNC Mode): For programs too large for the machine to hold, the USBCNC-2D "drips" the code line-by-line, ensuring the machine never skips a beat.
### 2. Wireless Connectivity & Remote Control
The USBCNC-2D acts like a bridge between the office and the shop floor. By connecting to your Wi-Fi network, it talks directly to your computer.
- PC-to-Device Sync: Use the included software to wirelessly send programs from your desk to the USBCNC-2D. No more running back and forth with thumb drives.
- Live Monitoring: From your computer, you can see if the device is transmitting or stopped, and track the percentage (%) of the program remaining.
- Operator Alerts: Send text notifications from your PC that pop up on the USBCNC-2D screen to give instructions to the operator.
Important: To talk to each other, the PC and the USBCNC-2D must be on the same Wi-Fi network—like two people needing to be in the same room to have a conversation.
### 3. On-Board Intelligence
The USBCNC-2D isn't just a "sender"; it’s a mini-workstation built for the machine side.
- Path Simulation: Before you cut a single chip, use the Toolpath Simulator to visually check the program on the screen.
- Direct Editing: Need a quick fix? Use the virtual keys or plug in a standard USB keyboard to edit G-code directly on the device.
- Auto Resend Mode: For repetitive parts, this is like an "Automatic Reload" feature—it resets the program to the start the moment the cycle ends.

### Why the USBCNC-2D?
Using a standard PC in a machine shop is like bringing a laptop to a construction site—the dust and vibration will eventually kill it. The USBCNC-2D is built for the "war zone." Its aluminum shell protects it, and the magnetic backing means it saves space by sticking directly to the machine body.
