Fadal OEM Hardware: Precision Components for Critical Subsystems
At CNCPros, your premier supplier of Fadal OEM replacement parts, we exclusively provide hardware that meets the exacting standards of Fadal engineering. Our comprehensive inventory of precision fasteners and hardware components is meticulously sourced from a curated list of ISO-certified suppliers, ensuring every item conforms to strict dimensional tolerances and material specifications. This commitment to quality is fundamental to maintaining the structural integrity and precision alignment of your machine's critical assemblies.
Technical Specifications and Sourcing Integrity
The hardware components we supply are not merely off-the-shelf items; they are integral to the machine's performance envelope. Each part is selected for its:
- Dimensional Consistency: Conforming to precise tolerances is essential for correct fitment, preventing play or misalignment in machine sub-systems.
- Material Integrity: We ensure the use of high-grade materials with certified mechanical properties (e.g., tensile strength, hardness), which is crucial for components subjected to dynamic loads and operational stresses.
- Traceability: Sourcing from ISO-certified partners provides a traceable supply chain, guaranteeing that every piece of hardware meets the highest global quality management standards.
The CNCPros Premier Advantage
Our status as the premier supplier is a testament to our exclusive focus on genuine Fadal OEM quality. We understand that non-compliant hardware can lead to compromised performance, premature wear, and potential safety hazards.
We maintain a comprehensive, real-time inventory of essential Fadal hardware. However, if a specific component is not listed in our catalog, our dedicated sourcing specialists can leverage their industry network to procure it on your behalf. If you don't see it, we can get it. Just give us a call at 208-888-9236.
Choosing CNCPros for your hardware requirements is a strategic decision to maintain the reliability, precision, and longevity of your Fadal machine.
Troubleshooting: Ballscrew or Thrust Bearings?
Is your ballscrew bad or just the thrust bearings?
Here's a quick check:
- Remove the left side X axis waycover
- Remove the bottom cover to expose the end of the ballscrew
- Place a mag base and indicator on the saddle
- Indicate off the end of the ballscrew, and zero using a .0001" indicator
- Turn the ballscrew 45 degrees or so and does it move or than .0003"
- Yes: Bad thrust bearings
- No: Loose gibs or bad ballscrew
Now double check yourself. Reach under the table with the control in E-Stop mode and turn the ballscrew by hand. Is it smooth or rough? It should not be rough at all, but you could be feeling the thrust bearings, so you will need to remove the ballnut bolts so you can turn it alone by hand to see if it is gritty. If so, or it is loose and sloppy feeling, replace the ballscrew.
We stock all machine models's ballscrews from the late 1980's through 2008 so give us a call whether you need bearings and seals or just a ballscrew. 208-888-9236
